Today, we’ll focus on talking about hobbies and interests.
You’ll learn how to use verbs followed by gerunds.
We’ll also expand your vocabulary with words related to hobbies and interests and practice asking and answering questions about your favorite activities.

Grammar Focus
Verbs Followed by Gerunds
Examples:
◦ I enjoy swimming.
◦ She likes reading books.
◦ They dislike watching TV.
Rule:
After certain verbs, use the gerund form (verb + -ing).
When we talk about hobbies, we often use verbs like enjoy, like, or dislike.
These verbs are followed by a gerund, which is the -ing form of a verb.
Remember, after these verbs, we don’t use the infinitive form—we use the gerund.
