Today, we’ll focus on describing daily routines.
By the end of this lesson, you’ll be able to talk about your daily activities using the present simple tense and adverbs of frequency.
We’ll also learn common vocabulary related to daily routines and practice asking and answering questions about our daily lives.

Grammar Focus
Present Simple Tense for Daily Routines
Examples:
◦ I wake up at 7:00 a.m.
◦ She goes to work at 9:00 a.m.
◦ They eat dinner at 7:00 p.m
Rule:
Use the base form of the verb for
I ◦ you ◦ we ◦ they
I eat ◦ you eat ◦ we eat ◦ they eat.
Add -s or -es for
he ◦ she ◦ it
he eats ◦ she eats ◦ it eats.
Adverbs of Frequency
Adverbs of frequency tells us how often something happens.
Examples:
Always
I always drink coffee in the morning.
Usually
She usually takes the bus to work.
Sometimes
We sometimes eat out for dinner.
Never
He never skips breakfast.
Rule:
Place the adverb of frequency before the main verb
She usually walks to school.
With the verb to be, place the adverb after the verb
He is always on time.
