Here are some effective listening strategies:

Predicting:
Before you listen, try to predict what the audio will be about based on the title or topic.

Listening for main ideas:
Focus on understanding the main points or gist of the audio.

Listening for specific details:
Pay attention to specific information such as names, dates, numbers, and key facts.

Summarizing:
After listening, summarize the main points in your own words to reinforce your understanding.

These strategies will help you become a more active and effective listener.
