Look at the pictures and count the objects.
Write the number and the noun.

Plural Nouns
Next, let's talk about plural nouns. When we have more than one of something, we usually add 's' or 'es' to make it plural.
Singular: One apple π
Plural: Two apples π π
Singular: One bus π
Plural: Two buses π π
Singular: One box π¦
Plural: Two boxes π¦ π¦
Rules:
For most nouns, add -s
cat β cats.
For nouns ending in

bus β buses.
For nouns ending in
y, change y to -ies
baby β babies.
Exercise:
Change these singular nouns to plurals:
1. Book

Irregular Plurals
Some nouns have irregular plural forms.
These don't follow the usual rules, so you need to remember them.
Man β Men
Woman β Women
Child β Children
Foot β Feet
Tooth β Teeth
Mouse β Mice
Exercise:
Match the singular noun with its irregular plural form.
